OUT OF SCHOOL CARE

Out of School Care is not only about caring for your child but more! We have made it our goal to "make learning fun"! After school care activities.

Homework Assistance - students work on school homework (staff & their teachers work together and communicate to help improve their studies) Study sheets are also handed out to the students such as math equations, word puzzles, handwriting, story building.

Math Club - students work on math activities such as; math equations, counting single & double digits, telling time, and more.

Reading Chart - students write about their book and receive a "star" for every 10 books read! After "10" stars they receive a prize and certificate!

Indoor/Outdoor Play - students enjoy the outdoors after their hard work at studies!

*Of course, let's not forget...a healthy snack too! Visit our "Kids Corner" to see all these activities and more!

*Pick up time is a very important and a great opportunity for all questions, concerns, discussions about your child. Upon drop off, we understand there isn't time to chat. So, staff would love to take time with you, giving you their full attention at time of pick up:

*Students are to bring nutricious peanut-free snacks, (lunch on a pro d days, unless hot lunch is being provided by KITG), for the youngsters a change of clothing. We take the students outside (weather permitting) so please have appropriate attire for the weather.

*Occasionally the students watch movies..."G" rated movies only! Students are welcome to bring movies from home; staff will assess the movie to ensure it is age-appropriate.

*Registration begins February 1st 2012; forms can be downloaded from our site. To register your child we require a non-refundable $50 registration fee (also reserving your child's spot), Kids in the Grove Registration Form, Fraser Health Form & 2 Emergency Cards, Parent Agreement and 10 post-dated cheques due on the 1st of each month (September 2012-June 2013) at the time of enrollment.
