LADIES NIGHT AT KIDS IN THE GROVE
On Friday, March 14th 2008; Kids in the Grove held a “Ladies Night” featuring a variety of local businesses owned & operated by Ladies & Working Moms! There were a few Moms that were Kids in the Grove Parents; whom recently started their own businesses…”Courtneys Cuts and Colors” (a Preschool Mom who opened her own Hair Salon) and Girls Hair Ribbons (another Preschool Mom who has used her talent of designing girls hair ribbons into a business!)

I would like to thank all the Ladies/Moms for participating in the event and showing off their products! I would also like to thank those whom attended the event; the Ladies/Moms appreciated your interest and purchases! Both Courtneys Cuts and Colors & Party Lites had Door Prizes for the guests to sign up for. My Mother in Law Wendy won a gift certificate to Courtneys Cuts and Colors, and Courtney’s friend won a Party Lites gift certificate!!

The event brought many ladies from the Walnut Grove area; and some from outside of Langley! A great time was had by all; and many goodies were brought home too!! We are so glad to have met such wonderful Ladies/Moms; and enjoyed getting to know them and the businesses that they have started! The Ladies/Moms enjoyed themselves so much; that I was asked to hold another Ladies Night! Mark your calendars gals; we will be having another Ladies Night October 2008; exact date & time TBA! We have made some great connections and look forward to seeing them in the fall!
