Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am very proud to be working here at "Kids in the Grove" daycare center. I have lived in Langley most of my life and attended Latimer Road Elementary and Clayton Heights Secondary schools. I am excited to soon be attending Kwantlen Polytechnic University where I will be taking the Special Education Teachers Assistance program. I look forward to learning how to communicate and work with children who need that special care to help them learn and grow along side their peers.

In my past I've worked along side children while volunteering for the Kids help line, as well as working in leadership programs to help them gain confidence in themselves and their decisions.

When I'm not working or volunteering I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. My main hobbies are reading, writing and drawing. I also love listening to music as well as playing it. I've been playing the clarinet for twelve years and continue to dabble in different instruments from time to time.

Since working here I have gained a greater appreciation for children. I have always loved working with children, but being here everyday and having the opportunity to travel back and forth between locations has brought me closer to each child, getting to know their likes and dislikes, and just taking the time to play a fun game, or six, of Uno! I already have created some very fond memories here and look forward to creating many more.
