On a personal note, I am married with three children (15, 14 and 9). I enjoy keeping fit, reading and anything creative. I currently live in the Walnut Grove/Willoughby area. I am very excited to be part of the Kids in the Grove team and look forward to meeting, as well as getting to know both the parents/carers and children of the community.
Hi, my name is Sharon and I am a qualified Early Childhood Educator. I relocated to BC Canada in September 2010, with my family from Europe. I lived in France for four years running my own holiday business, as well as teaching my youngest son English along side his French education. Previous to that, I lived in England and worked as an Early Childhood Educator for six years in schools, kindergarten and preschools. With my experience and qualifications I have achieved the necessary skills required to help children develop self-care, independence and to have pride in themselves and what they do. To have fun by making activities interesting, where children can learn through play and take the first steps when learning to read and write by having fun with phonics.
