FIELD TRIPS: Field Trips MUST be paid in advance! Please have your child at the facility no later than 9AM! as bus/staff are on tight schedules. Arrival time from field trips 4PM; please give us 15 minutes leeway just to be safe:)
CONSENT FORMS: Emergency Consent Cards MUST be filled out and handed in prior to summer attendance. These cards are necessary for all field trips and allows us to handle emergencies while away from the centre amicably & responsibly!! Swimming Consent Forms MUST be signed & handed into staff prior to waterslides trip!
T-SHIRTS & BACKPACKS: KITG provides T-Shirts & Backpacks with our logo on it for all students attending our summer program. These items allow us to keep track of our students & their belongings as well as; keeping their snacks, lunches & emergency info. safe during the field trip too!
FRIDAY LUNCHES: Every Friday, KITG provides lunch for the students:)
SUN SAFETY: Please provide your child with sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle!
FIELD TRIPS & TRANSPORTATION COSTS:
Staff & students walk to their destinations. There are no travel or field trip costs incurred.
SKIN PROTECTION!
Sun Smart Tips:
*Apply sunscreen, SPF 15 or higher, 30 minutes before going in the sun.
*Reapply every 2 hours, and after swimming.
*Wear a hat and sunglasses.
*Avoid the sun between 10am and 4pm.
Protection from Mosquitoes:
*Use insect repellents that are registered in Canada and contain Deet.
*Deet in repellents should not exceed 30% for adults or 10% for children.
*Do not use insect repellent in children under 2 years of age.
